DETAILS : The weekend will integrate the healing power of nature into our healing voice work. We will work with the sounding traditions of people that lived close to nature and used sound to deepen their connection with their environment. Primrose Haven contains many beautiful gardens and natural spaces. The course will be held in the Sound Peace Chamber, the Celtic Roundhouse and in some outside spaces such as the Peace Garden, the Stone Circle with the four directions and elements, the Emissary Wheel and beside a mountain stream in the nearby woods. We will explore some of the deeper healing potential of nature and use sound to connect with this.
We will gain an understanding of the qualities of the elements - fire, water, earth and air - and explore our relationships to them and the way they influence our lives.
We will demonstrate the ways that sound can be used to heal ourselves and others and the healing power of sound in nature.
We will share our experience of the Damanhur projects of the Music of the Plants and Orienting Trees to help raise the global network of tree consciousness.

Immerse yourself in a healing weekend learning about the Assemblage Point and how to align it. All energy systems assemble from an epicentre; in the human body the centre of our energy field is the Assemblage Point. This is the main place where our energy field connects with our physical body.
The Assemblage Point is directly connected with our life force energy. The position of the Assemblage Point has a direct effect on our physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and even biochemical health and well-being. This workshop is suitable for practitioners and students of Sound Healing; yoga or meditation teachers and for those who wish to incorporate instruments and / or voice in their group sound baths.
This workshop comprises practical and theory as follows:
• Guidance on setting up sacred space
• How to hold group energy
• Sensing group dynamics
• Learning how to use the instruments or voice to create a safe Sound Bath
• Learn how to balance sound and silence

The five parts will take you on a journey in connecting with your drum, rattle, feather and other medicine tools for self-healing, healing the Earth and others. You will recognise the power of the drum and medicine tools to heal and transform.
You may use a drum and rattle you currently work with, subject to approval of suitability by your course tutor, or you may wish to join one of the regular drum birthing and rattle making workshops offered by the tutors throughout the year.
Additional instruments can be explored within the two additional workshops required as part of the training.
PART ONE serves as an introduction to using the drum for healing, and helps you connect to your drum, medicine wheel and nature.
FROM PART TWO students will need to become student members of the College to gain insurance to carry out case studies.

Prerequisites: It is helpful if you are open to using your voice to sound and are in reasonable health mentally and physically. Please contact to discuss if you are uncertain.
The five parts will take you on a journey in connecting with your voice and sound for your own wellbeing and how to administer it to others. This core training primarily uses the Voice and Tuning Forks.
Additional instruments can be explored within the two additional workshops required as part of the training.
PART ONE serves as an introduction to using the voice for healing, and helps you connect to your voice with breathing and voice exercises.
FROM PART TWO students will need to become student members of the College to gain insurance to carry out case studies. It will be necessary to purchase C and G Tuning Forks at this stage.

There will be a variety of sticks to choose from or you can bring your own (talk to me first about size please). The rattles are made from deerskin. You will produce a template cut out and make your rattle. This will be done in Sacred Space. As the rattle head will need to dry out, you will need to come back to finish off securing the head a couple of days later or be shown how to do this via zoom in your own home. In this day you will learn how you can work with your rattle, please wear old clothing.

DETAILS : The College of Sound Healing Gong Practitioner Training Course© is a CMA-certificated training programme over five weekends, over the period of one year. This comprises 70 hours formal training, plus practise, coursework, reading and mentoring in-between sessions. Completing this course gives you the information, knowledge, tools and qualification - acceptable anywhere in the world - to be a Gong Practitioner able to treat clients in a therapeutic setting both on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
The Course was written for the College by Sheila Whittaker, who is the senior College Gong tutor, and advisor to the College on all matters gong-related. The world of the Gong and its use for healing is a fascinating and relatively little-known subject. This Course aims to bring together and impart as much relevant knowledge and wisdom, ancient and new, as is possible in the time allotted for the Course. Some of this knowledge was lost in the mists of time and has been rediscovered during the last century. The Gong teachings are extensive and need time for participants to assimilate. This is best done in a Course run over the period of a year, to allow more comfortable integration of the powerful energies involved. Participants are guided throughout the Course by an experienced, caring, supportive tutor, and encouraged to do their own reading and studies between sessions to further promote their training.
Steph only takes a certain number of students on the Course each year, so that she has the time and opportunity to mentor each one individually.
Students are allotted coursework and case studies between the formal sessions to enable them to practise working with clients, thus honing their skills and techniques, and gaining confidence and expertise before they venture into the world to offer their services professionally. There is a short written exam at the end.
Doing the Course over the period of a year also enables the participants to embark on their own healing journey with the gongs - to do their own inner emotional and self development work - so that they can clear much of their own "stuff" and clear their own energy vibration before they start to treat others. This is essential when you are working in a therapeutic capacity - we need to be able to provide a strongly held safe, supportive space for our clients, and know that when the gongs inevitably do their clearing work during a gong bath, that we can be fully present to support clients in their healing process.
Each participant will need to have the use of their own gong by the 2nd weekend session. Guidance on choice of gong will be given during Session 1.
Price - £1750 in total. A deposit of £100 secures your place on the course, with the balance payable before weekend 1, or instalments are possible by arrangement.
Location - The course is held in the rural, peaceful and beautiful Treflach Farm, near Oswestry on the English Welsh border. Not just a magical space, but a working farm and community hub, there is free parking and plenty of outside space for reflection in nature.
This course is not residential, but there is some accommodation available on the farm, including rooms, glamping and camping (tents and vans).
Hot drinks are included, but please bring a packed lunch.

Soundscapes can be used with the intention to support strengthening community connections and foster a sense of belonging or in the corporate environment for team building or to express and explore your creativity or to create playful and sensory-rich workshop where children can explore the world of soundscapes in a safe and supportive environment.

DETAILS : A weekend of joy! 3rd/4th October 2026. Learn how to use laughter as a medicine and to lead a laughter workshop mindfully when people don't feel like laughing. Learn about the benefits and history of laughter yoga, start your own laughter club and bring sunshine and healing to local communities.
You could also attend this course just for your own self-development and to reconnect with your childlike playfulness.
Laughter yoga involves laughter games, connecting to your inner child, gentle movements (no yoga poses involved, anyone can do it), laughter meditation, healing pain with laughter, deep breathing, opening up creativity (making up new games) finishing with relaxation / deep relax.
Learn at least 40 laughter exercises and how to lead a 30 - 90 minute laughter yoga session. This course was outlined by a medical doctor, the founder of laughter yoga, Dr Madan Kataria from India. Taught by Anetta an FHT Accredited Laughter Yoga Teacher with lots of experience of running laughter clubs.
Anetta led sessions at hen parties, care homes, centres for young adults with learning difficulties, team building for companies, parents and kids clubs) and festivals: Larmer Tree, Colourfest, Purbeck Valley Folk Festival, Sculpture by The Lakes, World Yoga Festival, Goren Festival in England, UK.
The end of the course you will present your knowledge of laughter yoga and lead some exercises. Then, at the end of the 2 days, you will receive your certificate. The certificate is valid to use to run your own laughter club or incorporate into other healing work.

DETAILS : I learned to play guitar at the age of 14. Music became my therapy, allowing me to be with and process difficult feelings and experiences as I was maturing. Music was also a great source of inspiration, acting as a catalyst and guide to my spiritual growth. It particularly resonated with deep existential feelings, as if it held the keys to some mystical truth. I still feel this today, when I listen to, teach, or play music. For me, it touches the core of what it is to be human, whilst simultaneously vibrating on a level that is truly cosmic! In this way it does one of the greatest things that we are here to do - to unite Earth and stars within our own embodiment!
In this workshop, we will look at some elements of music that have this therapeutic and transformational potential. Drawing from musical examples as well wisdom from and sound healing luminaries, we will explore this subject with plenty of experiential and interactive examples, so you can feel into it all yourself.
You don't need to have any musical experience to join this retreat. All practices will be accessible to everyone. You will have the opportunity just to listen, or to have a go, as you prefer. The day will be useful for expanding your appreciation and access to music's therapeutic potential in your daily life. It will also be useful if you are a practitioner and would like to take a deeper dive into some core elements of music and sound.

The course tutor has over 30 years experience of teaching in a variety of settings and you will experience a range of styles and approaches to enable you to gain the very best from this course. To maximise learning and meet individual needs, course numbers will be small and you will be offered individual support and mentoring throughout.
Coursework and case studies are required between the formal taught sessions. This enables students to develop skills and techniques and to grow in confidence and competence. Full support is provided by the tutor who also fosters a supportive ethos, encouraging students to support one another.
The College of Sound Healing Gong Practitioner Training Course© is a CMA-certificated training programme taught over five weekends, over the period of one year. The course is made up of 70 hours formal training, plus practise, coursework, case studies, reading and individual mentoring in-between sessions.
Completing this course gives students the information, knowledge, tools and qualification to be a Gong Practitioner. You will be recognised as able to treat people in a therapeutic setting both on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
This Course was written for the College by Sheila Whittaker, who is the senior College Gong Tutor, and advisor to the College on all gong-related matters.
Working with the Gong is a powerful personal journey. The various learning and experience opportunities require time for students to assimilate. As this course is taught over a year, each student is able to learn and develop at their own pace. The non-rushed nature of this course also supports students on their own individual Healing journey with the Gong. Clearing our own emotional baggage and raising vibration is a prerequisite for helping others to do so and you will be fully supported as you undertake that challenging but deeply rewarding inner work.
Each participant will need access to their own Gong by the 2nd weekend and support in selecting the best Gong for you will be given during Session 1.
Price - £290 per session (£1450 in total) A deposit of £100 secures your place on the course, with the balance for Session 1 and each of the remaining Sessions due a month beforehand.

REIKI DRUM THERAPIST COURSE
