Sound Healer Training The Core Curriculum comprises five weekend workshops taken over one year. The five parts of the course should be taken in order. Students will also need to complete one additional Sound Healing Workshops during the time that they are training. Attending the College of Sound Healing Conference counts as one workshop. The cost for each of the above weekends is £220. INTRODUCTION TO CRYSTAL & HIMALAYAN BOWLS

This one day workshop introduces you to both Crystal Bowls and Himalayan Bowls, we look at sound healing with bowls and how it works on the physical and energetic bodies. We look at the history and different types of bowls available, how they are made and playing techniques for both types of bowls. We look at the chakras and how sound relates to the energy system, the notes and sound connected to them. There is lots of hands on with the bowls, you will do mini sessions on each other, and learn how to give a sound treatment to a family member and indeed yourself. We look at energetic protection, intention and lots more. It is a fun and interactive day.

INTRODUCTION TO WORKING WITH THE VOICE AND SOUND HEALING

A fun day introducing you to working with the Voice, we will work as a group over the day, learning voice warm ups, what is sound healing and how does it work on the Human Energy System.  We will look a little at the Energy System and how using sound we can work using the voice to bring balance back into energy and physical body.  We will be working with toning the chakras, the importance of the correct breathing patterns, and the importance of listening.  We will be doing meditations, free toning, toning a persons name and the importance of grounding.  We will have a great day of sounding together, no experience is required, as we will take you on a journey of using your voice for yourself and others.

The Crystal Bowl and Himalayan Bowl Practitioner Training is taken over three weekends with a three month period between each weekend. Completion of the training will give the participants the knowledge and tools required to become a Crystal Bowl and Himalayan Bowl Practitioner.

In Module One we will be looking at Sound Healing in general, and then start to learn and work with crystal bowls, the energy system and crystal bowls, cleansing, programming and working one-to-one as a therapy.  WE will also be working with a pendulum and learning to dowse the Chakras and Energy System.  

Module Two covers working with Himalayan Bowls one-to-one, we look at the different types, how they are made, playing techniques and advanced techniques and layouts. There will be plenty of practice time on this course with your fellow students.

In Module Three we will be looking at working with Groups and Sound Healing. Choosing a location, cost of venues and booking, cleansing and protecting the healing space, public awareness during sound bath, insurance. Different techniques working with various sounds, shruti box and voice during a sound bath. Advertising the event, Energy Splits and Spirals and working with people with life limiting conditions,  plus lots more.

In order to be awarded a Practitioner Certificate a total of 18 case studies will need to be completed and there will be an assessment on giving a group sound bath which is covered on Part Three. As well as completing the core curriculum, students will need to complete one additional Sound Healing Workshops. Details of these workshops can be found on the Sound Healing Workshops page.

The Training Course is run in Bedfordshire it is based upon hands-on experiential training and students get support from highly experienced Tutors.

CRYSTALS, COLOUR & SOUND AND INTRODUCTION

This is an introduction workshop where you will be learning about about the history of some of the major groups of crystals and their properties and their use in our everyday life. How to clear, energise and programme your crystals. We will look at using colour in our everyday life, and how colour effects us on many levels. We will also look at the chakras and energy system and the colours usually associated with them. How we can work with the chakras using crystals, sound and colour. The healing power of sound and how music can effect us on many levels. The benefits of yogic breathing and toning. The day will be a mixture of theory and practice along with group exercises which will include:- chakra balancing, cleansing the energy field, programming,ergising and cleansing crystals. Energising your drinking water with quartz crystal energy, toning, crystal bowl sounds, combining crystals, colour and sound. We will have crystals to use during the training, and there will also be some to purchase if you wish. If you have your own crystals then please bring them along. This workshop is suitable for all of you that wish to learn a little about combining crystals, colour and sound. This workshop serves as one of the two additional workshops for the Voice Practitioner Training or the l day workshop for the Crystal and Himalayan Bowl Practitioner Training, or 7 hours CPD. A certificate will be provided at end of training.
