DETAILS : An Introduction to Sound Healing with the Voice Mayo 2018

A non-residential weekend workshop.

It is the introductory module of the Certified Practitioner Training Course which can also be taken as a stand-alone personal development workshop.

Many people choose to do this module as part of their own healing journey, whether they choose to become Sound Healing Practitioners or not. For those wishing to complete the full training this introductory module is mandatory.

This workshop offers a great opportunity to learn about and explore the healing potential of your own voice. No previous experience is required.

In a gentle, relaxed and nourishing space, together we will explore the following:

FINDING YOUR VOICE

• Understanding the healing power of the voice

• Removing blockages from the voice

• Voice exercises

• Creating pure tone

HEALING WITH THE VOICE

• Experience a sound healing session

BREATH

• The Importance of the Breath

HARMONICS

• Understanding harmonics and their role in healing

• Develop the ability to hear harmonics

• Learn techniques to create vocal harmonics

CHANT

• Learn sacred chants from different spiritual traditions

CHAKRAS

• Balancing the chakras with vowel sounds

• Using sound for meditation
