Earth Path - Ceremony and Sacred Drumming Birthkeeper Practitioner Training, iIt is a course for all who wish to support birthing parents from a more shamanic perceprective.  Midwives, doulas, healers... if you feel the calling, then it is for you!

It is a training that will guide you in supporting your birthing clients in a deeper way than other birth support trainings.   We will do this through drawing upon the shamanic gifts within, and the gifts of mother earth. Through ceremony, shamanic journeys, energy, drum and internal healing work, sacred drumming for pregnancy and birth, and grounding, connecting, rituals.

I use the words 'earth path' in place of shamanic because we draw on our roots, and the world in which we live, these feelings are individual for each of us.

As a birth keeper, you are a gatekeeper, you are a space holder.

The birth keeping path opens many birth keepers / doulas / midwives / healers to more than the physical nature of birth because birth is more than the physical. You will be working with your clients in supporting them through their birth as the rite of passage it is for them.​

This course aims to help you feel into that 'space holding' which doulas do in a deep way, seeing beyond the physical yet with your feet firmly on the earth.​

 

This is a course will be spread over a year with in person five modules.  It will include mentoring through earth path and spiritual practices, including sacred drumming and ceremony, so you can include this as part of your support offerings to birthing families. 

 

This course is certified with the Complementary Medical Association and approved by The College of Sound Healing where I am a tutor for Shamanic Healing Practices and Sacred Drumming.

 

Venue: Laughton Lodge, Sussex.​

Weekend one: 20/21 January 2024

Weekend two: 9-10 March 2024

Weekend three: 25 26 May 

Weekend four; 20 21 July 

Weekend five: 2- 3 November 2024

 

Cost £1250.

Self catering accommodation at low cost is available too for four quick to book students on site, as well as camping or live in vans.
