How to Work with Vocal Sound Healing and Groups Workshop

This online workshop is suitable for sound healers and therapists  wishing to take healing voice work into group settings.

Alexandra has been delivering vocal sound healing for groups since 2014 and is running this workshop to assist vocal sound healers with taking this work effectively out into their communities.

The day is aimed at those trained in delivering sound healing (or in training) and who understand the key principles of the modality (this will be covered briefly). Those that are not trained in sound healing can attend but the focus will be on delivering group work not the study of sound healing.

The workshop will cover key information about holding the energy of a group session, building your own energy/confidence and facilitating voice healing for others, as well as lots of ideas to help you develop the content of regular sessions. 
 
Key Elements of the Day:
 

• Creating a sacred space for working with groups
• A consideration of the principles of Sound Healing and how this applies to groups
• Holding space for others
• Harmonising a group
• Working with Intention
• Building confidence as a group leader (working in small practice groups)
• Learn key voice healing formats to build content for regular group sessions
• Learn group sounding exercises including voice meditations, chant and mantra

 

This workshop counts towards as additional workshop days for College of Sound Healing Practitioner Trainings. A certificate of attendance will be given.

Cost and Duration: £120 1 Day

Qualification Gained: A certificate of attendance for CPD and Insurance purposes

Technical Requirements: You will need a working device such as a laptop or tablet that has a camera and microphone so that you can be seen and heard/see and listen You may find that headphones provide better a sound quality and a more effective learning environment but a mix of headphones and without is ideal. You will need a minimum internet bandwidth of 600kbps and recommended is 1.5Mbps, if you are able to access YouTube/Netflix smoothly then you will be able to access Zoom. You will also need to access your ORIGINAL SOUND SETTINGS in the Zoom meeting so you can be heard when using elongated vocal sounds in group exercises.
