Sound is a dynamic form of vibration, as is our own energetic system. It is a creative and structural force within ourselves and the universe. In this workshop we will explore this profound truth from different perspectives. Beginning with our relationship to our beloved Earth, we will come into resonance with her - a source of safety, vitality and belonging. From this grounded centre, we will engage the wonderful practice of Vocal Tai Chi. You will connect with the flow of energy in breath and body to open the voice and discover your own unique inner universe of sound. Vocal Tai Chi is a highly intuitive embodied practice, welcoming all sounds as valued parts of us. Returning to centre, I will then guide you through a heart activation meditation leading into a sound journey with gongs, singing bowls, chimes and percussion.

Morning

• Welcome and Introduction

• From the Ground Up - Earth Connection and Grounding - Safety, vital energy and belonging - Deepening a relationship - Resonant humming with the Mother

Break

• Introduction to Vocal Tai Chi

• Vocal Tai Chi Session 1 - Body-breath-flow - opening the voice

Lunch 

Afternoon

• Vocal Tai Chi session 2 - Unfolding and Exploring

Break

• The magic and majesty of the Heart

• Sacred Heart Activation, leading into…

• Sound Journey (Soundbath)

• Drawing it all together - Personal practice - advice and tips

What to bring

Please bring your own lunch, a yoga or camping mat, pillow, blanket and anything you need to be comfortable and warm for the sound bath.
