Review Days offer the opportunity to develop your sound healing skills. We will be going over all the basic sound healing techniques as well as looking at some more advanced ones.

Harmonium Stage 1

Saturday September 5th, 2009
This will be a one-day workshop from 10am to 5pm, cost £70, held in Hawkhurst, Kent, facilitated by Sheila Whittaker. This workshop is for beginners on the harmonium. Sheila has developed this unique workshop to meet an obvious need for people who want to learn to play the harmonium (miniature organ) to accompany chanting. It helps if you already have some knowledge of the piano keyboard, but this is not essential, as tuition will be given. You will be given very simple music to take away for your own ongoing practise. This workshop will also include work with the smaller and more basic brother of the harmonium - the Sruti box. Numbers will be limited so that individual attention can be given to participants. Men's Sacred Journey

1st - 4th October 2009
The empowerment we individually need can be discovered in the company of men, men who are willing to share, being strong and yet still gentle; where new men coming in to the circle can feel safe and supported. A community of support.

First Day
We will hold an opening ceremony at Stonehenge, onwards to Glastonbury where we will settle into our Bed and Breakfasts (Glastonbury will be our base from where we will travel).

Second Day
Will be spent at Avebury Henge (the largest stone circle in Europe) the stone circle of Avebury is a place of open heartedness and safety here we will work with our vulnerability, our inner child and our rhythm and then into Kennet Long Barrow to drum and trance into the Earth Mother for answers and guidance; onto Wood Henge here we dance, Wood Henge is an inter-dimentional portal and a place of freedom and communication.
We will end the day with a private access evening meditation within the Wind and Sun Temple of Stonehenge.

Third Day
The third day will be spent in Glastonbury, as pilgrims we will walk to greet the rising sun on the top of the wind swept Glastonbury Tor; accessing the power and support of our ancestors at the Holy Thorn of Joseph of Arimathea.

Fourth Day
The fourth day will be spent doing Qi Kung at Old Sarum near Salisbury to process our inner male to female relationship onto Cadbury Castle (the reputed site of Camelot) where we will trance dance towards our Arthurian Connection; with a final closing circle at Stonehenge.

The price of this Journey is £550/ Euro 890, includes all transport in the UK, B&B for three nights, all entrance fees and tuition. Changes to the programme may occur due to inclement weather or unforseen circumstances.

This will be a day where opportunities will be given to experience energy work, which will be therapeutic and healing, using the voice as well as instruments, if you choose (eg drums, rattles, bells, bowls, etc). There will also be opportunites to give/receive sound 'baths' using instruments as well as voices, and there will be some chanting.

I really hope you are free on that day, and will come to join us. (cost - £45/£30, from 10.30am till 4.30pm.Please bring a pillow and blanket if you wish to lie down, and a packed lunch.
